The Court Liaison Unit serves as the liaison
between the State Attorney’s Office and the Winter Haven Police
Department. Duties include reviewing and copying felony
cases from Detectives, handling worthless check affidavits
received by the department and issuing subpoenas and maintaining
accurate records of all subpoenas received for the department.
The Liaison also notifies officers of court dates and status of
cases and updating all cases on the New World Records Management
System regarding correspondence from the State Attorney's
Office.
