Tracy Johnson - Dispatcher of
the Year 2007 |
|
Communications
Dispatcher II Tracy Johnson
has been with the Winter Haven Police Department since
2000 and held the position of Acting Supervisor for four
years. Tracy handles callers with great respect,
care and control. She understands when she answers
that 911 call that the caller could be involved in a
life-threatening situation but she continues to stay
calm and also keep the caller calm.
On September 7,
2007 Tracy went above and beyond what is expected of
her. She assisted the State Attorney's Office on
locating a very important witness to a criminal act.
Due to her professionalism and teamwork with the officer
on the road, they were able to locate the person.
Tracy is
irreplaceable and is highly respected by her co-workers
and supervisors. We know that she will continue to
give 100% to the Department and to the Community. |
