The Administrative Services Bureau is represented by the Chief of Police
and is responsible for ensuring the effective internal coordination and
external delivery of all police services and for setting the
philosophy and culture of our agency. The Internal Affairs Unit and
Accreditation are the only two units
specifically assigned to report directly to the Chief of Police.
The Chief of Police,
Mark LeVine, is the Chief Executive Officer of the Winter Haven
Police Department and is responsible for the professional and efficient
operation of the agency. Chief LeVine establishes policy and
sets the standards for the operation of the agency. The Deputy
Chief of Police, Buddy Waters, is responsible for the day-to-day
operations of the Police Department. He provides guidance and direction,
as well as establishes goals necessary for the department to complete
its public safety mission.
