Located in beautiful
Central Florida, the City of Winter Haven is the
second largest municipality in Polk County with a population of
approximately 34,464. The City is 39.7 square miles with more than seven square
miles being comprised of the Chain of Lakes.
The Winter Haven Police Department consists of 83 sworn
officers and 23 civilians. Our Department has been state-accredited by the Commission for Florida Law
Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) since 2002.
The Winter Haven Police Department is dedicated to the
community through programs such as D.A.R.E.,
Police Explorers, Neighborhood Watch and numerous Crime Prevention
functions.
